Steps for this integration:
Connect your Interact account to Zapier
Login to Zapier
Create zaps in zapier
Complete Lead generation in your Interact app
Connect Your Zapier account to your Interact App
Step 1: Turn on "lead generation" on the Interact app builder left sidebar.
To create your Opt-In Form, select the Contact Field information you would like to collect from your quiz takers
Scroll down to customize your Opt-In Form (The Opt-In Form will appear after your quiz taker answers the last quiz question but before receiving the Quiz Result)
Click "Save & Continue " when finished with your Opt-In Form.
Step 2: Under Connect your email list, choose Zapier from the list of integrations.
Step 3: Copy the Interact API key and Login your Zapier account.
Login to Zapier
Step 1: Log in to Zapier and click on Zaps.
Create zaps in zapier
Step 1: Click + Create Zap.
By clicking Create you will begin setting up the zap.
Step 2: Click Trigger, then search and select Interact as the Trigger App.
Select New Lead as the Trigger Event and click Continue.
Step 3: Click Choose, then click + Connect a new account.
Paste the Interact API Key you copied in Step 3, and click Yes, Continue to Interact.
Step 4: Click Continue then choose your quiz from the Quiz dropdown and click Continue.
If you have multiple quizzes please select the quiz you are using to create the zap.
Step 5: Test your connection to Interact by clicking Test Trigger.
This will pull in test leads, ie. Lead A.
Click Continue.
Step 6: Select lead to test
Please keep in mind these are fictitious leads meant to test the connection (you cannot test real live leads).
After selecting "continue with selected record" you can move on to Actions.
Step 7: Search and choose Podia as the Action App.
Then choose Subscribe someone from the Event dropdown and click Continue.
Step 8: Log in to your Podia account and click Continue.
Step 9: Update the following fields
Match up any other fields that you have on your Interact quiz opt in form, ie. Last Name then click Continue.
Tag: Choose one of your quiz result tags from the dropdown
Email: choose the Interact email option
First name: choose the Interact first name option
Step 10: Click the + icon between the Trigger and Action boxes in your Zap and choose Filter.
If you do not have this option in zapier it is because it is a paid feature.
Step 11: Update the following fields then click Continue.
Choose field: Choose Tag from the dropdown
Choose condition: choose (Text) Contains from the dropdown
Enter text or insert data: Type of copy/paste your quiz result title (as it matches the result title in Interact)
Step 12: At the bottom of the Zap, click Test Action to confirm the Zap works.
Note, the test lead’s email must contain the quiz result so they pass through the filter you just added. If so, click Publish.
Step 13: Repeat steps 1 through 12 for each of your quiz results.
You should have 1 Zap per quiz result.
Complete Lead generation in your Interact app
Step 1: Return to Interact and press Activate Connection to finish the set up within Interact.
Step 2: Test Integration
Select Test Integration to test your Integration to Zapier. When it is successful, hit Publish on your quiz.
IMPORTANT: If your quiz is already published and embedded, any changes made to the integrations will require you to publish your quiz after changes have been saved.
